About the Scholarship
Who Can Nominate?
Anyone can nominate a candidate for the High School Heroes Scholarship. Students can nominate their friends, grandparents, parents, and siblings can nominate their family members. We encourage everyone in Madison County to participate and help us identify these exceptional individuals.
Scholarship Details
Four students will each receive a $2,500 check through the High School Heroes Scholarship, totaling $10,000 in awards. One winner will be selected each quarter to help cover the costs of their undergraduate education or trade school. Additionally, winners will be featured on our social media platforms to showcase their incredible contributions to the community.
How to Nominate
To nominate a high school senior for the High School Heroes Scholarship, simply fill out the form below. Submissions must be 350 words or less and should explain why your nominee is a great candidate for the scholarship.
Be sure to include specific examples of their service and impact on the community.

Rules and Guidelines
- Nominees must be high school seniors currently enrolled in a school in Madison County.
- Submissions must be 350 words or less and explain why the nominee is deserving of the scholarship.
- Nominees must be willing to have their photo taken with our attorneys for promotional purposes.
- Winners will be selected based on the quality of their service and impact on the community.
- The decision of the scholarship committee is final.
- Employees of Hornsby Watson Hornsby and Heyward and their family members are not eligible to participate.
